Sydney Barker
Research Consultant
Sydney is a Research Consultant at Summa Strategies. She brings experience in parliamentary communications, public policy research, and stakeholder engagement to Summa’s Research Team.
Prior to joining Summa, Sydney worked on Parliament Hill supporting the communications and parliamentary affairs work of several federal Conservative Members of Parliament. During her time on the Hill, she monitored legislative and committee activity, conducted policy research and managed communication materials.
Sydney has been active in political engagement, working with the Conservative Party during recent federal campaigns and with local campus clubs. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Ottawa.
