Meghan McCabe

Meghan McCabe is a strategic communications leader and executive advisor with experience in government, political campaigns, and media. Known for her expertise in crisis management, stakeholder engagement and storytelling, she has a proven track record of guiding complex communications in high-pressure environments.
For the past five years, Meghan served as the Director of Communications in the Premier’s Office of Newfoundland and Labrador, navigating all public communications through the pandemic, a cyber attack, and the repatriation of the remains of an unknown soldier. Meghan strategized on policy development while leading media relations, marketing, event production, and closely coordinating with federal, provincial and municipal governments and stakeholder groups.
With a background as a multi-platform journalist and producer at CBC and NTV News in her hometown of St. John’s, Meghan understands how to meet people where they are to effectively communicate in today’s hectic landscape.
She holds a Bachelor of Journalism (Hons) from the University of King’s College, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science, History and English from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Dance Performance Studies from George Brown College.
