OTTAWA, ON – Summa is pleased to welcome Michael Ingoldsby as a Senior Consultant. Michael is a seasoned economic and fiscal policy advisor with extensive experience at the highest levels of the federal government.
Michael brings nearly a decade of experience advising ministers, senior officials, and Crown corporation leadership on complex economic, budgetary, and financial-sector policy issues. Most recently, he served as Director of Corporate Strategy at the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC), where he led enterprise-wide strategic planning, oversaw the development of five-year corporate plans, and worked closely with the Department of Finance and the Treasury Board Secretariat to secure Cabinet approval.
Michael previously held roles as a senior advisor in the office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland and as an advisor in former Minister of Finance Bill Morneau’s office, where he supported the development of federal budgets, economic policy, and financial-sector initiatives during a period of significant fiscal and economic change.
