Addition of Christine Burke and Bryce McRae expands federal and provincial advocacy expertise and adds digital service capabilities for clients
OTTAWA, ON – July 2, 2025 – Summa Strategies, one of Canada’s leading public affairs and government relations firms, is pleased to announce the addition of Christine Burke and Bryce McRae to its multipartisan, dynamic team of consultants. These appointments underscore Summa’s commitment to expand its expertise and deliver unparalleled service to clients across Canada.

Christine Burke joins Summa as Vice President and Digital Lead. She served previously as Managing Director, Accounts, at spark*advocacy, where she was a highly respected leader in strategic communications and digital advocacy. Her extensive experience in developing and executing impactful advocacy campaigns will be a significant asset to Summa’s diverse client base. Christine also worked as an advisor in the previous Liberal government and spent considerable time at Queen’s Park where she served several Liberal cabinet ministers.

Bryce McRae joins Summa as a Senior Consultant, bringing nearly a decade of federal and provincial political experience in both government and opposition. He managed Pierre Poilievre’s stakeholder relations in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition leading up to the 2025 federal election. Bryce previously served two senior cabinet ministers in Premier Ford’s Ontario government, as well as having worked for a Senator, and a Member of Parliament. Bryce’s work reflects a deep understanding of institutional processes, what shapes decision-making, and how to translate knowledge into action.
